We’re proud to announce that the worldwide Magic Marine Family is growing with the arrival of Spanish 470 sailors Jordi Xammar Hernandez & Nicolás Rodríguez García-Paz. This talented team has earned its place as one of the top performers within the 470 fleet.
Their road to Tokyo 2020 is an accumulation of podium places, during the recent World Championships at the Olympic Waters they won the silver medal, a great result with one year to go till the start of the Olympics!
Not only the results stand out for the team, their team spirit and attitude within the fleet perfectly fits the Magic Marine philosophy where we believe in building on long term relationships and working together to achieve more!
Jordi Xammar Hernandez: “We are close friends with some of the other Magic Marine team riders, so we have seen, over the last couple of years, how the team has grown, and we feel honoured to be part of this group of sailors. It’s great to have a combination of classes and nationalities within this group, this is something we don’t see often within the sailing culture!”
Nicolás Rodríguez Garcí-Paz: “Next to the great group of people we also got impressed by the gear we received. It’s super comfortable to wear and there is gear for every circumstance, especially with the heat of Tokyo this is necessary for us! We look forward to help with our input to develop the gear even further together with Magic Marine.”
More than Magic
Magic Marine believes in the power of family, trust and interaction to become a better version of yourself. Max Blom, CEO of Magic Marine explains; “Family and trust are an important base of all types of development, especially in the current society where all focus is on achieving goals. “
“With the family feeling we’ve created in our business we see how strong we are, and this is exactly what we try to transfer to our team riders. We make them part of our big family and have trust in them, also when they are in a less successful season. With the stories and experiences of our sailors, and form now on also from Jordi & Nicolas, we are able to constantly develop our collection and grow with the needs of our sailors.”
